About Me

Hello! My name is Joey. I am a senior studying at Washington University in St. Louis pursuing degrees in Computer Science & Computer Engineering. I am passionate about software development, and I am always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow. I am currently looking for a full time position as a software developer.

More About Me

Along with my studies at WashU, my co-founder and I have spent the last year and a half launching a company named Sobriety Hub. This is by far my biggest project and the one I am most proud of. It has sharpened my skills in every domain (pun intended) of web development, from front-end to back-end. It has been a joy learning so much along the way. While I am sad to be letting it go upon graduation, I am confident what we started will continue to go on and many individuals will benefit in their road to recovery.

Taking a step back from work and school, I am a huge fan of the outdoors. I love to go hiking, swimming, camping, and rock climbing, among other activities. I also have a passion for video games. My competitive nature shines through I am playing, as I strive to reach the top ranks in my favorite game, Valorant. Additionally, having been born and raised in St. Louis, I am of course a devoted fan of both the Cardinals and the Blues.

Valorant Wiki

Using the React library and the Next.js framework, I created a website deployed on Vercel that gives you all information about the game Valorant. It uses the official api, so anytime the game is updated with new skins, maps, or agents the website will update automatically. It even has GPT 3.5 built in with the persona of my favorite agent Brimstone!
